Kulir 100°

Serving chilled (Kulir 100 – Preview)

Thanks to her film-making experience with Steven Spielberg’s ‘Dream Works’, Anita Udeep, who had made a couple of English animation movies, has entered Kollywood with ‘Kulir 100’.

Interestingly, one of her films ‘Gullivers Travels’ made it to Oscars semi-finals in the animated films category. Her Tamil movie ‘Kulir 100’ features Sanjeev from Kerala and a newcomer from Delhi going by the name Ria.

Sashi, son of music composers Sabesh- Murali duo, is being introduced as the music director. Says Anita, ‘the movie is a mix of friendship, comedy, action, adventure and fantasy. Though I had worked in Spielberg’s production house, I’ve always wanted to do Tamil films. There is a burning desire in me to make a mark for myself in Kollywood’.

On the movie’s title, Anita says, ‘The film is as hot as 100° and as cold as ‘Kulir’ and the entire story takes place in a hill station. It’s a film I can relate to certain real-life incidents that happened in my life’, she says.
